ACETONE
Acetone is manufactured as the by-product of the cumene process of phenol production.

Acetone is a volatile colourless liquid with the characteristic smell. It is perfectly soluble in water and organic solvents and highly flammable.

Primary application of acetone is manufacturing of methyl methacrylate which is then used mainly for production of organic glass. Acetone is the raw material for bisphenol A production. By the condensation reaction, diacetone alcohol, methyl isobutyl ketone and other solvents can be produced from acetone, which by itself is also the well known and commonly used solvent and the component of many solvent compositions.
We supply acetone in the steel rail tank cars or road tank cars, marked properly. Acetone should be stored in the closed steel tanks equipped with flame breakers, painted light and having the water sprinkling facilities to be used during high ambient temperatures.
